Flagship Service — $200, or $20 at volume

Skip Tracing

Finding the party who moved, changed names, shares a name with four hundred other people, or is deliberately hard to reach. We run proprietary local records and privately sourced OSINT alongside the standard databases — which is why files that came back empty elsewhere resolve here.

What you get

A locate report giving you the best available leads on the subject, each rated for confidence and tied to the record it came from. We do not forward a raw database export — findings are cross-referenced across sources, conflicts are resolved or flagged, and same-name subjects are eliminated on identifiers.

What "verified" honestly means

Nothing is verified until someone lays eyes on it in person. Cross-referencing multiple independent sources raises confidence substantially, and that is what a good skip trace delivers — but a record is a record, not a sighting. We tell you how confident we are and why, and where certainty actually matters we will go put a person on it.

  • Best-available current residential address
  • Address history with date ranges
  • Active telephone numbers, landline and mobile
  • Email addresses and online identifiers
  • Employment identification where developed
  • Relatives, associates, and household members
  • Possible aliases, maiden names, and spelling variants
  • Date-of-birth and identifier confirmation
  • Incarceration and deceased-record checks
  • Same-name subject elimination

Two ways to buy this

A collections manager screening four hundred files and an attorney who needs one evasive defendant found are not buying the same thing, and shouldn't pay the same price. We sell both.

Skip Trace Investigation

An investigator works the file. Findings are cross-referenced across independent sources, conflicts are resolved or flagged, same-name subjects are eliminated on identifiers, every material fact is tied to where it came from, and each result carries a confidence rating.

  • Use it forService of process, judgment enforcement, witness location, anything that may be contested
  • IncludesCross-source corroboration, OSINT development, confidence rating

Bulk Database Reports

Comprehensive person reports run at volume against licensed databases and returned in batch. These are database output, not investigator-verified findings — which is exactly what makes them cheap enough to run across a whole portfolio.

  • Use it forPortfolio screening, batch address refresh, triage before you decide where to spend
  • Not forServing someone, garnishing someone, or anything going in front of a judge unverified

The workflow most volume clients land on

Run the whole portfolio through bulk reports first. Most files resolve there for the price of a coffee. Then escalate only the ones that come back thin, stale, or ambiguous to a $200 investigation. You end up paying investigative rates on the fraction of files that actually need an investigator, which is the entire point.

When counsel sends us a skip trace

  • Service of process has failed. The last known address is stale, the occupant denies knowing the subject, or the defendant is evading.
  • Post-judgment enforcement. You need a current address and employer before you can garnish wages or serve supplemental proceedings.
  • A witness has disappeared. The declarant from two years ago is now essential and unreachable.
  • Probate and heir location. Identifying and locating heirs, beneficiaries, or missing interest holders.
  • The database came back empty. A commercial aggregator returned nothing, or returned twelve people with the same name and no way to tell them apart.

Where our data comes from

Most vendors run one national aggregator and forward the export. That covers the easy files. We run three layers, and the second and third are the reason our hit rate on hard subjects is what it is.

  1. LAYER 01 — LICENSED DATABASES

    Commercial and licensed record sources

Credit headers, utility and telecom records, and public record aggregation, accessed under a documented permissible purpose. This is what everyone has, and it resolves straightforward subjects on day one.

  2. LAYER 02 — PROPRIETARY LOCAL DATA

Our own Pacific Northwest source material

Indexed county-level records, historical address and property data reaching back decades before digitization, business filings never scanned into any national system, and working relationships with regional record custodians. Built since 1980 and carried by no aggregator.

  3. LAYER 03 — PRIVATELY SOURCED OSINT

    Open source intelligence, run properly

Structured OSINT tradecraft against the subject's digital footprint — platform and account artifacts, username and email correlation, image and metadata analysis, domain and business registration trails, breach-exposure correlation, and network mapping through relatives and associates. Our team's cyber intelligence and military intelligence background is what makes this a discipline rather than a search box.

The layers reinforce each other. An OSINT artifact gives us a city; the local records confirm a tenancy; a utility record corroborates the date. That is what a verified finding looks like, and it is what a single database export cannot give you.

How we work the hard ones

Straightforward subjects resolve from public and licensed record sources. The ones that don't are where the actual work lives: reconstructing an address history from utility and property records, working outward through relatives and known associates, tracking a name change through court records, following a vehicle or business registration into a new jurisdiction, correlating a long-abandoned username across platforms, and eliminating same-name subjects on identifiers rather than guesswork.

When a subject genuinely cannot be located, you get a report that says so and documents exactly what was searched — so you can make a diligence showing for alternative service if you need one.

What we need from you

Full name and any known variants, last known address, and at least one identifier — date of birth, partial SSN, or a known relative. More data means a faster and cheaper search. Send what you have and we'll tell you if it's enough. If you don't have an identifier, we can develop one: date of birth or SSN is $30 each, or $40 for both.

A note on permissible use

Skip trace reports are investigative work product, not consumer reports. They may not be used to make eligibility decisions governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act — credit, insurance, employment, or housing. Where a search touches motor vehicle records, we work within the permissible uses of the Driver's Privacy Protection Act. See our compliance standards.
