Litigation Support

The investigative work that sits between the pleadings and the hearing: finding the witness, getting the statement, pulling the record, and documenting it so it can be used.

What we handle

In-person witness interviews

We locate fact witnesses, former employees, and third parties, then interview them face to face — not by phone, and not by a form letter that never comes back. A witness who will not return a call will very often talk at their door, and demeanor, hesitation, and the things a witness won't say on a recording are only observable in person.

You receive the recorded or written statement, a transcript on request, and a memorandum of the interview covering what was said, what was avoided, and how the witness is likely to present if they are put on the stand. Interviews are conducted in the manner counsel directs — signed statement, recorded statement, or investigator memorandum only.

Interviews and testimony are scoped per matter, typically 14 business days. Rates.

Background research on parties

Litigation history, criminal record checks where lawfully available, business affiliations, professional licensing and discipline, and public statements. Used for witness credibility, opposing-party context, and pre-deposition preparation.

Public records retrieval

Court files, recorded instruments, agency records, and public-records-act requests, obtained and indexed rather than dumped. Certified copies where the filing requires them.

Service of process

Locating evasive defendants, developing a service plan, and documenting attempts — plus bulk and volume service for firms and agencies moving files at scale. Where service genuinely cannot be effected, you receive a diligence affidavit describing exactly what was attempted, which is the record you need to move for alternative service. Service of process and bulk solutions.

Scene and asset documentation

Photographic documentation of property, vehicles, and business premises, with date, location, and chain of custody recorded.

Working with counsel

We work at the direction of counsel and structure deliverables accordingly. Tell us at intake whether you want interim findings by phone rather than in writing, and we'll work that way. We are investigators, not lawyers, and we don't render legal opinions.
